#IAMNEWORLEANS
There are no words to describe my gratitude for being the first muralist for the #IAMNEWORLEANS initiative and Mural project WITH THE KELLOGG FOUNDATION.
I am still basking in the idea of the the murals being completed. It’s as if my my muscle memory reminds me at 5:30am that I have another 6 hours to go and I don’t mind it. I am fully invested in the moment. I haven’t felt that way in a long time. As a black woman, entrepreneur, risk taker…goal achiever I am compelled by how strong of a person I became during this process. There was no elevator to completing four, thirty foot panels. I simply had to take the steps, well the “lift”!
In short, I’d like anyone reading this to know that with God you can accomplish and imprint peoples lives through the gifts you are blessed with. God will allign an appoint people you know and a lot of people you don’t know to help you along the way. Believe (put in your hours) and achieve.
The road less traveled is the road that won’t lead you wrong and I think I’m on the right path. :)
A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO LOVE, SUPPORTS AND ROOTS FOR ME!
